Having been in law enforcement for 35 years, this one really didn't sit well with me. Maybe I missed that ABC was using just stock training footage? I'm not sure. But this scene is NOT anywhere like what the police report tonight depicts. I see a shooter who is wearing the same pants and brand as the police officers attending the scene. I see the shooter communicating off camera with someone at the bottom of the screen during this video. I see no blood. The shooter did not shit his pants as they often do. The shooter took a controlled roll to the ground as would in any training exercise. I think this video is not the real shooter. I think this is stock training footage maybe that ABC used for some reason. No way this is real.

These copy act like little rookie trainees. Contaminated crime scene! Lack of training and organization. The set director (in black) steps in near the end to direct a scene that just wasn't working. When do you ever point your firearm at a handcuffed victim while your partner is in your line of fire? No way. FAKE!

After watching it several times, I think it has to be a stock footage role play from ABC. But if so, they should have clarified that on Twitter. Bad judgement putting this out that like ABC!
