UT45 Long Range Rifle Engagements March 2019

One of our training officer’s favorite subjects: the weaponization of math. For this event, we put away the broadsword, and brought out the scalpel. Long Range Rifle Engagements is the name. And the aim is to introduce our members to the art of long range shooting, and demystify the lore surrounding the subject of making accurate first round hits on small objects very far away. The primary focus was on ranging through scopes, and using ballistics tables to set up firing solutions and connect with each target with as few rounds fired as possible. Stay tuned for other videos.
