Trump honours 75th anniversary of WWII

US President Donald Trump has honoured the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II during a visit to North Carolina.

At least 25 veterans attended the event in Wilmington where Mr Trump announced the city would be declared as the first American World War II heritage city.

North Carolina is considered a battleground state for the upcoming election.
