"High Point, Bermuda, 1964"

The film can with the 8mm silent film that contained this piece was marked "High Point", "Bermuda 1964." I suspected it would be just a home movie of a tourist trip to Bermuda.....but as you'll see, it shows what appears to be a bunch of scientists and engineers setting up a big bunch of what appears to be optical equipment, as well as manning a large optical telescope in an observatory dome. A little research indicated that NASA had a tracking station in Bermuda from the 1960s on, and so I suspect that this is some early equipment setup on that station. It certainly is curious and interesting.
