The pathetic excuse that they give for not performing "challenge" tests on vaccine volunteers is that it would be "unethical" (LOL) to deliberately expose the volunteers to the real live disease. But somehow, it is NOT unethical to expose an entire vaccinated population, to the real live disease. Such crazy reasoning "does one's head in."
But it gets worse with vaccines for respiratory type illnesses. Even prominent vaccinologist Peter Hotez is open about the possibility of this type of vaccine "back firing" when challenged by the pathogen against which it is supposed to protect. Here is a very interesting interview with an Australian vaccinologist which explains this phenomenon.
