Heavy rain causes flooding in Sudan August 9th 2020 Heavy rains and torrential rains in most of the states of Sudan resulted in the deaths of nine people and the collapse of more than a thousand houses. In Khartoum state, hundreds of homes collapsed in the eastern Nile regions and flooded with sandy wood in eastern Khartoum, which led to the displacement of many citizens of these areas.
