My dad has been working on oiling up the wood on the Thompson (he had the finger grooves on the grips re-worked for more comfort), so that's the reason the stock isn't on the gun. Wife wanted to shoot it, so he brought it along. Don't get your panties in a bunch, it's still 30 some inches overall without the stock..

Model 1927 A1. Cuts Compensator. Auto Ordnance. Shoots rather nicely. The 30 round stick likes to hold open on last round for some reason. I think because of having to modify the hole in the mag for the release. The 50 round drums function a lot better. This is a fun little carbine to shoot.
