85 lions have died in five months in the Gir Forest, is it because of Canine Distemper virus?

85 lions have died in the Gir Forest in Gujarat in the past five months. This is the highest number of deaths that have happened in such a short time. Most of these deaths have been termed as natural. Is this because of the Canine Distemper Virus, from stray cattle which is weakening the immune system of the lions?
