1940 Rose Parade in Pasadena

Very rare bit of footage - color 16mm silent home movie film of the Tournament of Roses Parade, in Pasadena, California. 1940 was the 51st Rose Parade, and color movie film was relatively rare to be used at the time. The Grand Marshalls for this particular parade were Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, the famous ventriloquist and his partner/dummy.
