'Politicians have thrived on fear': Alan Jones

The only things Australians seem to get in relation to this wretched coronavirus are negativism, alarmism and fear according to Sky News host Alan Jones.

“There are very few syllables of hope or happiness,” he said.

Mr Jones said from the outset of the pandemic “the prevailing mood generated by politicians was alarmism”.

“And this was fed to us in press conferences every night”.

He said politicians have “thrived on fear” and that is why they have never once said 99 per cent of cases are mild.

"I have said that we need a National Advertising Campaign to tell us the facts and tell us the truth.

"We won't get that either. Governments won't do it".

"It will expose them."
