Apologist Justin Derby responds to YouTube CPO Neal Mohan's recent claim that independent content creators who cover news & politics are losers living in their parent's basements who are incapable of providing context to news stories. Now that YouTube has made their true feelings about independent content creators known, independent creators who have any integrity and principles need to leave YouTube behind and move on to the alt-tech scene.
