Who is the Messiah?

There is a prophecy from the Old Testament which often gets overlooked by Christians and Jews alike. Is it possible that this could be a conspiracy to cover up the clearest prophecy made which predicted Jesus? This prophecy is found in Daniel 9, is sometimes referred to as the The 70 Weeks Prophecy. Many of the specifics of the prophecy are covered in another video on this channel (Daniel's 70 weeks Prophecy). In this video we try to shed light on the actual meaning of "Christ", and the meaning of "Messiah”. We use these words all the time, without questioning where they came from. The word Christ comes from the Hebrew word Messiah, which comes from Daniel. Daniel 9:27 is the only prophecy in the entire Bible which uses the word "Messiah". So we think it is worth paying close attention to the message of Daniel 9, if we are to understand who this so-called “Messiah” is.
