I've been collecting Pokemon games for a while now, and it was mind blowing that there are actually fake games out there!!! This was a huge resource for helping me learn how to determine if a game is real or fake. It's saved me A LOT of money over the last little bit.

Has anyone bought a fake Pokemon Platinum Game or are having doubts about a game being authentic? I did not realize I bought a counterfeit game until it was too late. To help others avoid the mistake I made, here are some tell signs to help make a smart purchase on used Pokemon Games. Fake platinum game was found on Mercari.
