UKIP party leader Gerard Batten tells Sky News that Muslim ideology "legitimises sex slaves" and says he stands by his belief that Islam is a "death cult".

In this interview ahead of the 2018 UKIP party conference, Mr Batten doubled down on his controversial manifesto promise to repeal hate speech laws.

That's despite being criticised by his former leader Nigel Farage for endorsing an anti-Muslim rally in Sunderland which later turned violent.
