U.S. Army Heads For Poland & The Baltics For Saber Strike 18

Multiple U.S. Army units stationed across Europe are headed for Poland and the 3 Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania for exercise Saber Strike 18. Saber Strike is an annual international exercise which this year includes the U.S. and 18 allied countries involving about 18,000 personnel. The exercise is meant to simulate a response to a hypothetical attack from... most likely Russia. Countries participating: Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States. Saber Strike 18 takes place from June 3 to June 15, 2018.
