The Great Water Melon Lockdown Rot

The four week lockdown has crippled Water Melon farmers in Tamilnadu. This popular produce is rotting in around eight thousand acres as traders couldn't get trucks to procure them. Though transport restrictions have been eased, the price has dipped by eighty to ninety percent. Many farmers have abandoned their produce.
