Part 3 Divine Revelation: Sacred Tradition
The human race is from God and for God. I am going to begin now a two-part teaching on divine revelation. I consider the most important, or one of the most important elements of catholic Christian teaching.
Divine revelation in the catechism No 27, It speaks of the desire for God, the desire for God is written in the human heart because man is created by God and for God.
God never ceases to draw man onto himself, Only in God he will find the truth and happiness he never stopped searching for.
In this confused age, The age of identity crisis, The age where so many people seem to be lost and frightened we have hope.
The very first words that John Paul the 2nd ever spoke to the church as Pope and I'll never forget it. He came out into Saint Peters square he had that large crucifix that he had and he leaned on it like some cosmic warrior with a great sword and in Latin he said to the church and the world "Mundi Nolite Timere",
Be Not Afraid!
Be not afraid little flock. The first words out of his mouth and he continued to say it, by his actions and teachings. Be not afraid, We live in a grace time in history "o" yes it is a sinful time, it is a difficult time, a tortured time, but you know the more profound the darkness of the world becomes the more brightly do the stars of heaven shine and you are those stars. Don't worry about the darkness of this world it is the light, which is Christ that will illuminate that darkness and you are called to be the light of the world because you are in him.. Fr.
