SOUND REFLECTOR IS SHOT ON SIGHT!

During a Steel Challenge Match my "Sound Reflector" (which I put on because too many times I had a really fast run and the timer failed to pick up the sound of the rifle because the muzzle of the gun is set back in the stock about an inch) was shot to death in an apparent suicide attempt that succeeded as the reflector made it's way into the line of fire!
