Short Handle Pliers???

Mrs Rathbone said "Why??" when I showed her these pliers. I said "Because I wanted some!".

A little bit of malarky here, how to make short handled pliers. I really don't know what you could do with these pliers but since I purchased my pliers style lighter* I have been on a mission to get a real pair. Sadly (Or perhaps sensibly) they are not available so I decided to make my own. Join me on my adventure!
