Just some quick shots from my brother-in-law's rifle. We were just sighting it in for him at 50 then 100 yards (all we have :( ). After realizing the scope adjustments were 1/4" we were dead on after 3 shots

This rifle combo was just around $650.00 for the complete package out the door. MSRP is $795 on Savage's website, but much cheaper form Cabela's or local FFL:

Overall the package is very nice. Rifle is very well put together. Brother-in-law did install the Witt Machine Muzzle Brake, and custom made his own bolt handle from the stock one.

Recoil with the brake on it, is very mild. Not sharp at all, and a good nudge. I'd say less than shooting a .30-06 from an M1.
