Great gun, out of the choices you picked the right one,.. however I'd never use steel cased ammo.
I'd fear head spacing issues.
Yes, you should only shoot your reloads,....use brass.
And out in the woods you could shoot off of a tree to study your shot.

It was supposedly designed for steel cased ammo. I had no issues with it. I'm going to try some Winchester and Remington hunting rounds before deer season starts and may do a follow-up video with this vs 30-30. Thanks for watching.
