Rolf Harris and Jimmy Savile joke about their friendship

Footage filmed in 1992 by ITV West shows television entertainer and convicted sex abuser Rolf Harris joking with Jimmy Savile as he draws a portrait of him.

Harris, known to generations of children in Britain for his friendly screen presence, was found guilty of a string of indecent assaults on young girls that took place from the 1960s to the 1980s.

In the video Harris is seen joking with Savile that they go back a "long time".

"What was it? Several weeks ago wasn't it when we first met?" he said.

Harris then presents Savile with a portrait which he has drawn of him, to which he replies: "I see strong character lines, I see liquid brown eyes and I see the firm jutting chin, all together makes a horrible sight."
