Round Used: 300 Winchester Magnum163gr .30 Cal M2 Armor Piercing. 7.62x51mm, 130gr M80A1 EPR

Armor Used: RMA Armament Level IV (#1189) Standalone plate: http://www.rmadefense.com/Level-IV.asp

Temperature: 81.7Ā°F
Humidity: 39%
Baro: 30.07" HG
Dew Point: 53.2Ā°F

Shot 1 had a velocity of 3,276 fps. Shot did not penetrate the plate. Backface signature was 25mm~, but within acceptable limits.

Shot 2 had a velocity of 3,236 fps , and it did not penetrate the plate. Even less visible BFS.

Shot 3 had a velocity of 3,205 fps , and it did not penetrate the plate. BFS looked to mimic that of shot 2.

Shot 4 had a velocity of 3,220 fps , and it penetrated the plate. The core made it's way sideways into the clay about 3.5". We believe this round followed a crack from the 3rd shot, and is what caused penetration.

Shot 5 (M80A1) had a velocity of 3,030 fps. Shot did not penetrate the plate. Backface signature was 25mm~, but within acceptable limits.
