PPSh-41 Submachine Gun

Demonstration firing of a WW2 era Soviet PPSh-41 submachinegun, this one fitted with the iconic 71 round drum magazine. Designed by Soviet small arms designer Georgi Shpagin the PPSH fires the standard 7.62x25mm Soviet pistol round. Note the high cyclic rate. This simple and reliable weapon was a mainstay of the Soviet infantry for the latter part of the war.
