Peter Hitchens: I think Boris Johnson is enjoying this power of decree far too much

Columnist Peter Hitchens has criticised Boris Johnson for his approach to coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

In his latest discussion with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, the journalist said he thought the Prime Minister was “waiting for an excuse” to tightening measures in parts of northern England.

“I very much think it’s gone to Johnson’s head, I think he’s enjoying this power of decree far too much,” he added.
