Shadd and I venture off trail from Bald Mountain Pass into Murdock Basin. We visit a bunch of lakes, eat tons of blueberries (I thought were Bear Berries) and raspberries. Shadd caught a few fish, and fell in the lake. We see some pine Grouse, and get within 50 yards of some mountain goats. What a great day trip.

Interesting well done video. I have been fishing and hiking all over the uintas for over 50 years and have only used the topo maps and a compass. I haven't had much trouble getting where I was going although there have been a few times where I wasn't quite sure where I was. Please tell me what you use to navigate cross country.

I use an offline GPS app on my iPhone made by Gaia. Works if you have cell service or not.
