Ode To Those Who Will Never See Britain Free

My Uncle Graham recently got diagnosed with a terminal illness. Sadly, doctors predict he is unlikely to live past the week. He was a great man who dedicated his life to helping victims of the most horrendous crimes. Personally, he helped mould my own political beliefs and will forever remain not just an inspiration but also a true friend.

Like many who care profoundly for both democracy and our nation, he will never live to see his dream of a free and proud Britain. We owe it to his generation to respect what could be their last political will.

I dedicate this speech to him and all those who voted leave with the intention of building a better future for those they have leave behind.
