Neil Oliver: 'Once you cross the Rubicon to a police state, I don't know how you get back'

Broadcaster Neil Oliver reacts to headlines that suggest police could intervene with Christmas celebrations that break coronavirus restrictions.

“I’ve always had nothing but admiration for the police, broadly speaking, but if we get into a situation where the police become regarded by ordinary, law abiding citizens as the enemy, then we’re moving into the territory of the police state.

“If we cross that Rubicon…I don’t know how you get back from that.”
