Got a side shotshell carrier for my 870. Mesa Tactical 6 shot side saddle/ carrier. Available at many retailers, I found mine at MidwayUSA for $75.00 after shipping:

Overall fit, finish, and quality are high. Instructions included are to the point and workable.

Balance of gun still seems good even after bolting this up. I can see I like pulling them from the top. Reloading the entire tube would be faster pulling from the bottom
