SB346, TO AMEND ARKANSAS LAW CONCERNING THE PROCEDURES FOR PETITIONS AND REFERRED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY,
was debated in the Arkansas Senate State Agencies and Government Affairs Committee. The Committee met at the Arkansas State Capitol Old Supreme Courthouse (OSC) at 10am.
They met at 7am earlier to deal with Constitutional Amendments.

The bill would make it a felony when committing fraud regarding the gathering signatures and also dealt the election commission and the attorney general in regardings to canvassers.
Several folks from different groups spoke against the bill. Melissa Fults of the Arkansas Compassionate Care pro Medical Marijuana group spoke against the bill, along with Christian Values group Family Council President Jerry Cox.
I also spoke against the bill by talking about my experience in ballot iniatives and the inimidation tactics used by Arkansas Chamber of Commerce and it's Deep State Crook Chair Randy Zook

The bill passed Committee after a quick amendment by voice vote with only Democrat Will Bond opposing the bill. It will likely be on the Senate floor next Monday.
It will take more activists speaking against SB346 to block or at least amend the bill.
