Regarding YouTube's recent COPPA rules of engagement: These videos are not intended for children. The Santa Draws series is a parody on the theme of drawing videos and is intended for General audiences, animation, and teenage-plus thematic humor. Although the aspects of Santa, drawing, and animation are employed, the outcomes of the video series tend toward contradiction of outcomes, and is not intended specifically for children, or for learning how to draw, but more along the lines of general audience humor and entertainment. The creator's goal with this series is to explore animation while providing comedic entertainment to a general audience within the realms of good humor and situational parody. (Case study: Against my better judgement, my wife suggested I show the "Santa Draws a Dog" video to my niece's 2 year old. I hesitated, because, (spoiler alert), the dog doesn't make it! His mom said: "He's fine." Still doubtful, I played the video. and he cried! He wasn't appeased until we rewound the video back to where the dog was okay. Needless to say, ahem, these videos are not intended for children.
