Arkansas State Senator John Cooper GOP platform resolution politburo soviet empire speech shortened

Arkansas State Senator John Cooper read a written speech opposing a resolution that urged elected Republican officials to follow the Republican Party of Arkansas Platform. The speech was read at the Craighead County Republican Committee Meeting. Senator Cooper claimed the Republican Party Platform Resolution was the same as the oaths demanded by communist party during the Soviet Empire. A short rebuttal was given an applause.

Conservative State Representative Dan Sullivan is challenging Senator Cooper for the March 2 2020 GOP Primary Election. Among the many issues in the election is Senator Cooper's support of Obamacare in Arkansas, his deciding vote that blocked a stand your ground law & the increase of government and taxes despite a "Republican" Supermajority.
