An astonishingly good, but today mostly unknown, baritone from Austria who came to the US in 1933, became a citizen and had his American concert debut in 1939 at the Hollywood Bowl. This film came from "Official Films," a now defunct and vanished film production company, for the home entertainment market and I haven't been able to find just when/where it was recorded, but his talent really comes through this Almost Lost piece.
