The Idahoan shares his paraphrase of the 33rd Psalm.

Lyrics:

All ye whom the Lord accounts as righteous, lift your voice!
Play skillfully on instruments and in His Name rejoice!
Compose new anthems to His Name, His praises amplify,
For it is comely for His saints His praise to lift on high!

The goodness of the Lord our God doth all creation fill,
His love for justice shines abroad and righteous is His will.
With His breath the stars He kindled in the sky for all to see,
And at His divine command the heavens came to be.
In His silos He does keep the waters of the ocean deep,
The elements his voice obey: at His command they move or stay,
Wherefore then in awe and fear let all men stand His word to hear!

The counsel of the Lord endures, His ev’ry thought through endless years,
While godless counsel comes to naught, despite many conspirators.
Blessed are the people God has chosen for His own,
For all the men of earth He sees from Heaven’s glorious throne,
Their hearts laid bare beneath His gaze with all the deeds that they have done.

Though kings and governments should muster hosts of soldiers numberless,
Equipped with mighty war machines and trained with all elite prowess,
Without the favor of the Lord, all their power comes to naught,
While the Lord surely delivers those who have with fear His mercy sought.

Our souls do wait upon the Lord, our Savior and our Shield,
Who from death delivered us, and with heavenly bread our hunger filled.
Our hearts rejoice in Thee, oh Lord, because in Thee we trust:
In Thee we place our hope, oh Lord, let Thy mercy upon us rest!
