The Idahoan presents his paraphrase of the 23rd Psalm.

Lyrics:
The Lord is my shepherd: for naught shall I lack!
In His green pastures He’ll bed down His flock.
By streams cool and quitet my soul He doth lead,
My strength to restore that His Law I may heed.
Yea though my foes should lay wait by the trail,
And death cast its shadow across the grim vale,
Naught shall I fear for my Lord is near by,
With His glittering sword every terror to defy,
And though off the path I should go far astray,
His shepherd’s crook draws me back into the way.
When my foes gather ‘round me a feast He prepares,
Mocking their power and defying all terrors!
With the oil of His spirit He anointeth my soul,
So that with joy my heart doth overflow!
Surely as long as on eath I shall be,
The Lord’s grace and mercy in all shall I see,
And with Him shall I dwell throughout eternity!
