The Idahoan shares his paraphrase of the 16th Psalm.

Lyrics:
Preserve me, Oh God, for in Thee do I trust,
And kindness I've shown to Thy saints.
I resist those who after another god lust,
And from all their deeds I abstain.
The lord is my portion of inheritance;
My lot He alone doth ordain,
And rich my allotment within His domain!
Blessed be the Lord by Whose counsel I learn
To follow the path that is right,
And when the shadows my way overtake,
He guideth me on through the night.
The Lord will I follow, His word shall I heed,
For in Him adamant shall I be,
In Him my whole being rejoiceth indeed,
Condemnation no more shall I see.
The Lord will not suffer my soul to remain,
Ensnared in the chains of the grave.
He'll raise up His Holy One, life to ordain,
And my soul from death's bondage to save,
That in fullness of joy beyond what tongue can tell,
I'm free evermore in His kingdom to dwell!
