How To: Footwell Illumination Kit (#H201SSC000) 2009-2013 Forester / 2008-2011 Impreza

This is a simple installation video for the foot well illumination kit available from Subaru for the 2009-2013 Forester, and the 2008-2011 Impreza.

Some may discover this kit doesn't work for the 2012 and newer Impreza. H701SFJ101 (RED) and H701SFJ100 (Blue) are given for 2012 and newer vehicles.

Simple hands tools are needed. Phillips and flat blade screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, 3/8' wrench/socket, a good flash light, and a cordless drill if you choose to drill the hole mentioned on the template.

The Impreza models use both brackets, where as the Forester model only uses the bracket on the driver's side.

Installation is straight forward, and total time to install was 30 to 45 minutes tops.
