In reply ,to your reply ; it was very natural for me to assume that you were a left winger by your comment . You, threw the first stone on something as petty as a (right wing ) text. You said you could do without that text . A very classic move by left wingers to suppress free speech with anything they disagree with . You also mentioned that this text alienates the other 20% . One should naturally assume after those comments that you are left of center and not a conservative.

If your friends believe in the second amendment which protects the first amendment, then your friends are right of center. Therefore your friends are right wingers. As a classic liberal myself I can make this statement as undeniable truth. Others may refer to me as a Libertarian, conservative and a son of liberty.

Your friends suffer from political identity disorder. It is not the right wingers who are alienating your friends.
