The Republican Party of Arkansas held a Juneteenth celebration in the headquarters at 6th and Cross Street. Juneteenth is a day set aside to celebrate the Emancipation Proclamation. that ended slavery in several states. A Fredrick Douglas Cosplay character spoke at this event.
