FiveSeveN magazine issue-- non drop free mags Part 2

Took my FiveSeveN out today, and had more issues with the magazines not wanting to drop free, and or causing the slide not to lock back on last round, and causing slide to go forward when releasing.

It seems this issue is being caused by the slide release. I measure mine at .160". For anyone who watches that owns a FSN, can you measure yours for me? It's really hard to tell if it's broken, but it would appear so, as it barely contacts the magazine follower, and in as seen in the video, will slip off the magazine follower.

Not a good day. You'll see in the end of the video, that somehow the rear elevation screw head sheared off, and now the sight is inoperable until I get a new screw.. Not sure how that happened..

7/29/2012- Problem solved. In my case the lack of the magazine disconnect wasn't puting enough downward pressure on the magazine so they would no drop with good pressure, and it was allowing the magazine to slop around more than necessary in the gun. I ordered new magazine disconnect, installed it and problem is gone.
