Lead and zinc are not compatible,...Zinc would ruin the lead.
There are lead wheel weight's hardened by tin or antimony.
Then theirs wheel weight made from zin'c,..
You must separate the lead wheel weights from the zinc or it ruins you batch of lead.
Lead melts at 621 degree's Fahrenheit.
Zinc melts at 787 degree's Fahrenheit.
So if you miss some they will float on top,.. you get them out.
And for bullets I add pure lead till when,..... I dump a line of lead it take's to 4 bends to break.
But in a muzzle loader I use pure lead.
For a 12 ga I use pure lead.
Lees stuff is ok,... if you have a problem,.. they make it right.
But RCBS is good stuff,....but I use lee.
Who make's you hollow bullet mold?
