European Union 'failed on every level' for 'constantly focusing on socialist garbage'

Outsiders host Rowan Dean says "I would hope we now see the end of the European Union" following the failures observed "on every level" during the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which saw thousands of people die in member states.

The United Nations has offered Italy an 'heartfelt' apology for letting the country down at the start of the coronavirus pandemic and not effectively protecting it from the disease.

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said it is " true that too many were not there on time when Italy needed a helping hand at the very beginning".

"The EU is completely dysfunctional," Mr Dean told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

"They have failed the first big test therefore they are not fit for the job they do".

He said the EU has been "banging on about climate change, gender diversity, inclusion, open borders" over the last decade and has been spruiking "socialist garbage" instead of preparing for emergencies such as the latest virus.
