Just a quick overview on the new Dell Latitude 7000 series Ultrabook. This was more on a budget build side, so I didn't go all out.

12.5" screen (misspoke in the video), with 1366x768 resolution. A 1920-x1080 resolution LCD with touch is available, but ads a salty $250 to the price tag.

A Core i5 was ordered (i5-4200U), but Core i3s, and i7s are available ( i3-4010U, i7-4600U). 4GB of ram is standard but can be configured with 8GB of DDR3L.

256GB is the maximum SSD size available from Dell, and no secondary options are available. As noted in the video, a secondary Msata slot is available.

The Dell Wireless 1601 card was ordered with WiGig support.

Battery life seems very high, although I've not had the time to fully test. At times running the wireless with screen at half brightness, it was showing 5hrs+ on a full charge.

The fan on this unit is a lot quieter, compared to the 7440.

Overall a very nice Ultrabook for those who still need the ability to dock their system with no cords :)
