The Crickett .22LR is an excellent rifle for small children who aren't big enough yet to properly hold and fire a standard youth sized rifle. In this video, we look at removing the safety lock from the bottom of the firearm to avoid it accidentally locking when in use, which can be a real problem if the keys are somewhere else or become misplaced. My daughter, The Small One, joins us in modding her rifle and throws in some useful comments on firearm safety.

Required tools:
15mm deepwell sparkplug socket
T25 security torx (aka precision torx)

Maybe a rubber or chrome plug in that hole ???
Chrome would look good.
No worries about anything coming out, but DIRT and junk can go in.

Great first rifle for training. I used the same for my daughter.
