COVID is not a virus but one of the real conditions that appeared with some of the recent illnesses that were classified as COVID (and this confounded many doctors who put out videos about it) was HYPOXIA. This is a condition whereby a patient can inhale air but the blood CANNOT EXTRACT OXYGEN from that air. This is a genuinely life-threatening condition and, if we are hit by a "second wave" this will be the most obvious threat to human life. Only the most obvious (and therefore worth being prepared to protect oneself against).
