Coronavirus (Covid-19) Crime down but gun sales soar (USA) - BBC News - 24th April 2020

Many Americans who have never owned a gun before, are queuing up to buy firearms as its seen as an essential item. Why, when crime is down? It's because there is also less police around, who are off sick and home security becomes more serious, than ever before.
