I’ve found Ruger Old Army Cal and Ball revolvers to serve this role well although their availability may be low at this time.

Because the changes they made it qualifies as a modern firearm and has to go through a background check

@no0negun: the 1858 Pieta's can also be converted. But the product that they are selling follow the antique design. That's why those don't have to go through a background check

The conversion cylinders are such a pain in the ass that is just easier to use black powder.
