Here is another accuracy battle, this time between two 22LR firearms, the Colt 1911 and the Walther PPQ. Both are built by Walther. This accuracy battle and chrono test ended up bringing a very big potential problem to light for the Walther PPQ.

The 1911 is such a great platform. I think the PPQ is generally great too along other modern designs.

well, assuming the PPQ doesn't have issues, yeah, it shoot pretty darn well

This can happen when shooting lead through swaged barrels.

The lead “stacks” at the tapered portion of swaged barrel which could explain your lead fouling near the end of the barrel and your reducing velocities. Once it starts it will get worse as the stacked fouling contributes progressively to the problem

@no0negun: gonna really try to figure it all out, it would be STUPID for walther to produce a 22LR that cannot shoot lead considering that none of their other 22LR firearms do this. and leading up to the point of keyholing after just 30 rounds? that seems a bit off to me too
