Why climate change is good for the world

Don't panic! The scientific consensus is that warmer temperatures do more good than harm

Climate change has done more good than harm so far and is likely to continue doing so for most of this century. This is not some barmy, right-wing fantasy; it is the consensus of expert opinion. Yet almost nobody seems to know this. Whenever I make the point in public, I am told by those who are paid to insult anybody who departs from climate alarm that I have got it embarrassingly wrong, don’t know what I am talking about, must be referring to Britain only, rather than the world as a whole, and so forth.

At first, I thought this was just their usual bluster. But then I realised that they are genuinely unaware. Good news is no news, which is why the mainstream media largely ignores all studies showing net benefits of climate change. And academics have not exactly been keen to push such analysis forward. So here follows, for possibly the first time in history, an entire article in the national press on the net benefits of climate change.

ESPN writer Chris Palmer encouraged arsonists and terrorists to burn down a 189-unit low-income housing development in Minneapolis.

“Burn that shit down. Burn it all down” – Chris Palmer tweeted over a photo of the low-income housing completely engulfed in flames.

The tweet has been deleted, however the internet is forever.

The top 10 Hollywood hypocrites

This is less about hypocrisy and more about the fact that not even Obama’s staunchest allies live by the same lefty policies they seek to impose on the rest of America.

We know, we know – it’s hard to boil down the list to just 10 Hollywood loons, but we’ll give it a try anyway. We scoured Jason Mattera’s latest New York Times bestseller, Hollywood Hypocrites: The Devastating Truth About Obama’s Biggest Backers, to bring you the worse of the worse.

As Mattera says in his book, this is less about hypocrisy and more about the fact that not even Obama’s staunchest allies live by the same lefty policies they seek to impose on the rest of America.

Justin Trudeau, Identity-Politics Hypocrite

He is asking for forgiveness, but he had none for a Chinese peer falsely accused of racism.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is desperately trying to apologize for the multiple times he appeared in blackface. He has asked for forgiveness, blaming his behavior on the fact that he comes from “a place of privilege.” But now, he adds, “I have to acknowledge that that comes with a massive blind spot.”

Karen Wang, of Vancouver, British Columbia, doesn’t come from a place of privilege. She emigrated from mainland China in 1999 at age 23 and has built a respected day-care business. Last January, while running for Parliament as a candidate representing Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party in a special election, she was suddenly accused of racism. The Liberal Party panicked and within 24 hours forced her resignation, leaving her reputation in tatters.

Justin Trudeau, the virtue-signaling hypocrite

Demonstration marches are organized for the purpose of making the government do something about the issue in question. The leader of the country participating in a demonstration march is completely asinine. He is, essentially, protesting for the purpose of his own government to do something.

That's like a company CEO going on strike to protest his own salary... You know, rather than just doing something about it (such as raising it outright, or speaking to the board of directors about it). Or a car mechanic posting a negative review on himself because he botched the repair of his own car.
