This is how i understand it...if someone is ASYMPTOMATIC, they are less likely to pass on the virus. If they are not coughing, sneezing, etc. provided that we are not dirty birds, and washing our hands like WE SHOULD BE ANYWAY. Why don't Fauci or others talk about this, or am I wrong in believing this. BTW, thank you for doing this!

This is incorrect. In fact, when you’re asymptomatic it is actually more dangerous because you are more likely to be less careful with your behavior and that causes other people to get infected. That is why this viral this virus has become a pandemic. So many of the carriers are asymptomatic and it spreads so easily. And worldwide the death rate is 3.5% Which is incredibly high. The flu is less than 1%. There’s so much misinformation in this video it’s very disturbing.

At the end of December early January, in Chicagoland, people were saying that there was a weird upper respiratory thing going around. I have to wonder how many of us already had this.

I think these 2 Drs. are incredibly brave. They make many good points throughout this interview, all the while being interrupted by the off screen reporters. I think much more will come to light about the agenda that is underlying this pandemic soon.

I cannot believe you actually thnk a WORKDWIDE pandemic has an agenda. SO much of what they said is a manipulation of the facts. This is NOTHING like the flu. The comparisons they give between the flu and Covid 19 is like comparing apples and oranges. Covid 19 is much more widely spread and much more deadly. In 1.5 months we have had 65,000 Covid 19 related deaths. This is WOTH social distancing which has slowed the spread. The flu kills up to 61,000 people annually. This is very basic math. There is no

Things that should be pointed out here...

In 1.5 months as of today (April 23) there have been 35,476 deaths due to Covid-19. This is WITH social distancing. Annually the flu causes 12,000 to 61,000 deaths in the US WITHOUT social distancing. You CANNOT compare this to the flu and that is incredibly irresponsible. AND this is not just about deaths but rather the complications that lead to hospitalization and overwhelming of the healthcare system. As seen in NYC. As seen in Italy. As seen in Spain.

You have not addressed the fact that those who experience complications and more prevalence of death are those from poorer communities. Those who have less access to healthy food and overall healthcare. For example, as of April 12 it was reported that in Alabama 36% of Covid 19 related deaths were African Americans even though they only make up 26% of the entire states population.

To address immunity that should acquire the WHO just yesterday said, "There is currently no evidence that people who have recovered from COVID-19 and have antibodies are protected from a second infection." As of April 17 in South Korea 163 people who had recovered from Covid 19 were testing positive again. It’s unclear if it’s due to faulty testing but there still is not enough data.

Obviously it’s important to consider the fact that cases of unemployment will lead to more abuse but telling everyone to go back to work is not the right move. I trust a world renown epidemiologist who has more in-depth access to data over some local doctors who are conflicted as to whether this should apply to their local community of worldwide (because the two doctors contradicted each other while speaking).

I see. You listened and stopped the moment the doctors said something you disagree with. You then cite flawed statistics in an attempt to discredit them. Try listening to the entire video next time. I'll sooner take the opinion of doctors in the field over academics using flawed models and definitely sooner than anylthing uttered by the WHO.

Even with social distancing...we NEVER would have reached the numbers of death that they originally spoke about. We have only been shut down for about six weeks now. I live in the Chicago area, and although we had deaths, we did not have anything crazy like NY. Could it be that NY was not prepared? Even in 2016-7, during the flu epidemic, NY was in a bit of crisis. So, why didn't they prepare incase this happened again? Maybe too many ppl for the amt of hospitals. Too many factors/variables. Italy, same situation...not only not enough facilities, but NO MONEY. But think abut this...why is Chicago not having a bigger problem? Granted, it's not as HUGE as NY, but still, it's a metropolitan city, and about two months went by b4 the distancing/shutdown. surely, we would have sen a major problem.

WHy do you trust him more??? This is new remember? Why is it that you have doc's that are talking about a brighter side, because of what they have SEEN unlike Fauci, and part of you doesn't think...hmm... what if, maybe he's right,. No, instead it's as if you all want it to be dire. Because this has been politicized. He didn't say that NY should be the same as any other town...but it should not be all the same across the board.

@Verbena: These doctors are spreading misinformation. It’s as simple as that. They are comparing this to the flu when it is NOTHING like the flu. It’s not political. It’s basic math.

@swanthog: I listened almost towards the end. But the fact is that they are comparing the stats to the flu when this is terribly inaccurate. They are providing misleading information. We have had 65,693 deaths from Coronavirus in 1.5 months. ANNUALLY the flue kills up to 61,000. You can’t even compare.
